Supervised Parent Visitations

"If you need someone to watch you and your child during a visit, Taking Back Muskegon. can help. They have a new service that provides supervised parenting visits." Let me know if you need any further assistance!

We strive to end child abuse and promote the health of children, parents, and families. Our goal is to create a and nurturing environment for every child and parent. Join us in our mission.

What is Supervised Visitation?

Supervised visitation offers a secure and impartial setting for parents to spend time with their children. It can aid in the development of parenting abilities and facilitate the restoration of a healthy parent-child relationship.

Visits are supervised by trained visitation monitors who observe visits and can provide a report on the quality of the visits and visit activities. Monitors are also trained to provide parent coaching or to intervene during a visit if necessary. If more intensive parent training is required, the parent can receive Facilitated Supervised Visitation. These visits will be provided by a trained TBM partnering organization that will provide a Parent Educator and include a full course of parent training.

What Reports are Provided following Visitation?

Our visitation monitors will provide a written report form indicating time of visit, transition and visit activities and quality measures of parent interactions.  This report is available to both the custodial and non-custodial parent.

What is the Cost of Supervised Visitation?

A one-time intake fee of $100.00 will be collected to start the initial process. This includes interviews with both non-custodial and custodial parents.

VISITATION TIMES: Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.
